About the Author:
Steve Cole is an English author who was born in 1971 in Hereford, England. He is best known for his work on children's and young adult literature, particularly for his contributions to popular book series such as Doctor Who, Astrosaurs, and most notably, the Young Bond series.
Cole's writing career began in the late 1990s when he worked as an editor for several major publishing houses. In 2004, he published his first book, entitled The Wereling, which was the first in a trilogy of young adult horror novels. He followed this up with a series of humorous sci-fi adventure stories, the Astrosaurs series, which quickly gained a loyal following among young readers.
In 2014, Cole was chosen by the Ian Fleming estate to continue the Young Bond series, which had been on hiatus for several years. Cole's first book in the series, Shoot to Kill, was released to critical acclaim and set the tone for the rest of the series. Cole went on to write three more books in the series, each of which was met with similar success.
Throughout his career, Cole has been praised for his ability to write books that appeal to both children and adults. His books are known for their fast-paced action, witty humor, and engaging characters. He has won several awards for his writing, including the Red House Children's Book Award and the Hampshire Book Award.
