About the Author

Francesca Simon has become a well-known name within children’s literature over the years due to the highly popular Horrid Henry books. After studying at both Yale and Oxford Universities she worked as a medievalist and freelance journalist until she was encouraged by her son to start writing children’s stories. Horrid Henry was first published in 1994 and he has since become a household name. The character has since spread worldwide and his adventures are published in 31 different languages.
