The Summoner series is a captivating young adult fantasy series written by Taran Matharu. Comprised of four books, this series follows the story of a young orphan named Fletcher who discovers that he has the ability to summon demons from another world. As Fletcher navigates a world of magic, politics, and war, he must use his unique powers to protect his friends, fight his enemies, and uncover the truth about his past.

Book One: The Novice

The first book in the Summoner series introduces readers to Fletcher, a young orphan who has been raised in the small town of Pelt. When Fletcher accidentally summons a demon during a schoolyard scuffle, he is promptly arrested and sent to the Vocans Academy, a school for summoners. As Fletcher begins to learn about his powers and make new friends, he quickly realizes that there are dark forces at work in the kingdom of Hominum. With his new allies, Fletcher must navigate treacherous politics and deadly enemies if he hopes to survive and uncover the truth about his mysterious past.

Book Two: The Inquisition

In the second book of the series, Fletcher and his friends find themselves embroiled in a deadly conspiracy that threatens the very foundation of the summoner's society. When a group of rogue summoners begins attacking innocent civilians, Fletcher and his friends must use their skills and powers to uncover the truth and stop the madness. But as they delve deeper into the mystery, they soon realize that the stakes are higher than they ever imagined and that their lives are in grave danger.

Book Three: The Battlemage

In the third book of the series, Fletcher and his allies must prepare for war as the orc horde prepares to invade the kingdom of Hominum. With the help of his demon friends, Fletcher must rally the troops and lead them into battle against impossible odds. But as the fighting intensifies and the casualties mount, Fletcher begins to wonder if he has what it takes to be a true hero. The Battlemage is a thrilling, action-packed adventure that will leave readers on the edge of their seats.

Book Four: The Outcast

In the final book of the series, Fletcher must face his greatest challenge yet as he confronts his own dark past and battles against a deadly new enemy. With his friends by his side and his demon allies at his back, Fletcher must use all of his skills and cunning to save the kingdom of Hominum and restore peace to a land torn apart by war. The Outcast is a fitting conclusion to an epic series that has captivated readers with its thrilling action, memorable characters, and rich world-building.
