Fall books for 6-8-year-olds
At this age, your child may want to read more independently and explore different genres. With this in mind, we have a wide range of books to suit everyone, all fitting in with the fall season. Starting with Daisy and the Trouble with series, these books are perfect for children beginning to read longer books. The paragraphs are broken up by illustrations and are well-spaced so as not to overwhelm them. The best part about this collection is that it contains ten books from the series, including Daisy and the Trouble with Vampires, which is ideal for Halloween.
For an iconic fall read, you can't go wrong with The Worst Witch by Jill Murphy. The series follows Mildred Hubble, the worst witch at Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches. This box set contains seven short books which are great for independent readers or for stories to read together.
